THE SPACE
This is a heritage 150-year-old colonial estate bungalow and has been lovingly maintained in its original condition, including period furniture, paintings, books and knick-knacks.
This homestay in Bhimtal has two suites of two bedrooms each and a large double-occupancy bedroom that can accommodate 10 people.
Suite 1: It has 2 beds in the main room; 2 beds in an annexe. One attached bathroom opens into the main bedroom. The annexe opens into the verandah.
Suite 2: It has 2 beds in the main room; 2-kid bunk bed + single bed in an annexe. The main bedroom opens into the sitting room and another door opens into the verandah.
Bedroom: A large L-shaped room with two beds in one arm and a sitting area in the other arm, two walls of which are windows and door opening out to the back of the house, with a view of a small open field, forest and hill. Large, old-fashioned bathroom.
